Windsor Heights is a community to have your loved one attended to, participate in activities, field trips, have clergy, musicians, etc. Management makes sure families are kept in the loop on everything concerning their loved one. The executive director, Brandy Delp , also will come in as a caregiver without hesitation and I really respect that! Kudos Brandy on really having the compassion and stepping in to help!

This is a very clean community with caring and attentive staff. The rooms are spacious though the community is small and feels like home. There are many small common areas for you to visit with your loved one. There are two nice secured outdoor spaces to walk or enjoy the raised garden beds without noise from the main street traffic. This community does not feel clinical and the staff is very knowledgeable about dementia care.

Director made acceptance of my mom very easy.  She worked with hospital workers behind the scenes very well.  Aides have been phenomenal with both my mom and my aunt...Nurses are good regarding keeping you updated with medical events and requesting permission for new treatment.   Specialist doctors should be monitored for complete care service and what they charge medicare/medicaid.  My family paid out of pocket for service not complete by the podiatrist.
Kitchen, housekeeping and recreation personnel all show care and concern for residents.
I enjoy the small number of residents.  Males it seem more like a community.
I can't wait to see the beautiful grounds in spring and summer.

My mom is a current resident at Windsor Heights and she receives wonderful care. It is a fabulous facility for individuals with chronic neurological disorders that need round the clock care. The staff truly cares about their patients. In particular, Nyeeda is the most passionate. She works at the bedside and behind the scenes as a nurse care manager. I am thankful for the care they provide for my mother.

My husband was there for three weeks and a respite situation. Friends visited him. The feedback I got from them and from him was good with one exception. He was in a lobby area when they wheeled out a gurney with a body on it. He emailed me immediately about it, and when other people asked to what it was like later, he responded that it is a place where people go to die.
