My mother received excellent care for the 2 years she lived at the Promised Land.  Previously she was at another home that was passed from local ownership to corporate management which resulted in staff and cost cutting in the pursuit of maximum profit.  The Promised Land is owned and operated by Emily and Andrew.  They usually visit the home daily and are very involved with both operations and staff management.  They and their staff provided wonderful care for us and mom to the day of her passing.

The Promised land has been such a blessing to our family. We have had our Mom there for a year and a half now. Andrew and Emily do such a great job running the home. They have great communication and a great staff! The facility is always clean and orderly.  I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for an adult family care facility for their loved one.

I wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care my mother-in-law received during her time at the Promise Land. After transferring from a local Senior Living facility following a fall and surgery at the age of 103, she spent about a year and a half there. From the very beginning, Emily, Andrew, and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and well-being.

Whenever I asked her how things were going, she would always say, “I couldn’t be in a better place.” The attention she received was not just about her health but also about making her feel cared for and respected. The staff was always thoughtful, offering us coffee, tea, or water when we visited, and it was clear how much they genuinely cared for her.

My mother-in-law recently passed at the age of 105, and we as a family are deeply grateful for the love and support the Promise Land staff provided. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was in such capable and compassionate hands.

Thank you so much for everything you did for her. We will always remember the kindness and dedication of everyone at Promise Land

My mother is currently being cared for by the owners Emily, Andrew and the staff at the “The  Promised Land” Adult Family Home. She has been there coming up on about a year and a half. I have the highest regard for all the people that work there. They are a happy staff, easy to work with, warm, kind, attentive, gentle and take care of all my mother’s needs. The environment is modern, clean and very beautiful inside and outside. They have fun activities for the residents which is important to keep them active and alert. The home attracts a very good caliber of residents which I think is also very important. Most important, however, is that my mother is happy there. For me, I travel out-of-town frequently so knowing she is well cared for and content creates peace of mind. A big thanks to the owners and staff at The Promised Land Adult Family Home for a job well done.

My father has been a resident at 'The Promised Land Adult Family Home' for the past 8 months and we as a family could not be more thankful for the care and compassion he is receiving there.
This is a family-owned clean beautiful home where the residents can be together and socialize.  The owners Emily and Andrew and their entire staff are so attentive to each individual person that lives there.
The food is excellent, it always smells delicious, and I love that there is so much variety, they don’t serve the same things every day.   I also appreciate how they make the house so welcoming, not only for the residents but for their families.  They go all out and decorate the house for each season, and it just feels so cozy when you enter the home. I recommend them 100%, very good care, residents are happy, excellent food, excellent caregivers!
