SUNRISE OF EDMONDS

My parents moved in about two months ago and we have been very pleased with the facility and caring staff. The building itself is very nice and has a "home" look and feel - even has a sitting room with furnishings. Also has outdoor patio areas that are great in nice weather. My mom is in memory care and my father is in assisted living. Staff in all areas have been great - working very hard to provide compassionate care and provide great communication with the family. Lots of caring moments: calming breath exercises with my mom, helping my dad with hygiene, interfacing with doctors about medication, helping my parents visit, or just sitting with my parents to have a conversation. My parents themselves say that everyone is nice and working very hard. The food is good too having eaten there many times myself - fresh salads, nice variety of soups and specials, and great desserts! We looked at eight different facilities before making a choice and are very pleased with Sunrise.

My dad has been at Sunrise of Edmonds for 15 months now. He has received loving care the whole time. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted warmly by everyone there. Alicia, Terry, and Ellen are so friendly. Cindy and Angela do fun activities with the residents and include my dad by just going to his room and getting him. The caregivers are delightful as well. Abby, Blessings, Mesi and others give him tender care. Sam, Sigrid, and Brenda pay attention to every detail. My family and I are so grateful we chose Sunrise.

Sunrise of Edmonds is a fantastic senior living center! The people who work there treat you well, they truly care and in many cases have been there for years working. The most important opinion of Sunrise belong's to my Mom who is now 89 and has an apartment there. She is very happy with living there (food, apartment, cleanliness) but most of all she loves the people: both her neighbors and the team of people who work there. The peace of mind this bring's her family is priceless.

For almost 3 years, my Grandmother has been under the care of Sunrise. As a former Paramedic, I've seen many nursing homes and I've Always been impressed by Sunrise (even 10 years ago in TX (never smelled or looked unclean)). Now as an ICU Charge Nurse, the care and attention Sunrise Edmonds provides, the compassion of the staff at the door (Terry & Jody) and the care attendants from the 1st floor where my Grandmother started to now 3rd, more intensive memory care - the staff are kind and patient, warm and nurturing.
