FAIR OAKS CARE HOME AT MONTE PARK

Recently I had the pleasure of staying at FAIR OAKS CARE HOME, owned by Zelka Tomzak, located in Fair Oaks, California, while my husband recovered from surgery. I had no idea what to expect. My stay turned out wonderful. The food was great. If there was anything I particularly wanted all I had to do was ask Zelka, the owner, and I would have it by the next day. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and are very spacious and clean. Zelka was always cleaning. The backyard was like a little oasis, I loved to sit outside and watch the birds go from one tree to another. The patio was landscaped beautifully. It was so relaxing. I was in the Fair Oaks Care Home during the holidays. Zelka allowed my family to come over and have Christmas dinner that she prepared for us, at no extra charge. The monthly charge was reasonably priced and comparable to other care homes in the area. The only downfall was I ate to much. I would recommend this care home to anyone. This place is not what they advertise. We were told that our father would be provided with activities, crafts and healthy meals. We have seen none of that. We were also told transportation would be provided for doctors appointments, she calls us to handle those too because she can't leave the other residents there by themselves. She has tried to raise the rent several times without notice. Just stay far away. We are currently looking for other accommodations. You're welcome.
