The Terraces at Kingwood Town Center

My sister lives here and loves it, however if you want to speak to the director she will refuse your calls and never call you back, if you want to know about your loved one, good luck, because the staff won't tell you, no matter how many times you call. Poor staff management, no wonder it changes ownership so many times. If you feel comfortable with dropping your loved one off with no updates from staff, good luck with that. Very unhappy myself!

Staff is amazing but the management company needs to get the elevator working in the front, it has been OOO for a month. The carpets are filthy. My parents are unfortunately focused on this. Some residences have an odor that extends into the halls. The dining room has great food but my parents complain that there are fruit flies. Food is great. Service is slow. They should replace carpets with darker carpet bc scooters and spills have stained their carpets. The activities for residents are creative and plentiful. I wish there were some more things for men. My dad liked to tinker and build. Recently having HVAC issues but apartments are fine, common areas were affected. Great location and property. I think owners need to step it up on capital and maintenance expenses. Some staff work very hard while others seem to have less to do, could have them check restrooms bc old people tend to blow up toilets often. Roger is a hard worker and the maintenance men work very hard. The activities coordinator is very good and cheerful. I just wish these issues were addressed so my parents would be happier there. They have been there 6 weeks. There was a lack of communication and the apartment was not really ready when my parents moved in but we worked through it.

One of my Amazing Mom’s lives there and I have to say that there are some amazing people working there and that always makes it a joy to visit. The residents are also great to visit with and are like angels. The new director is also very nice and she is real pretty too. There are also three Amazing Women that work in the in house salon and they really are incredible. I do not have much experience comparing this place to others but I can say that it is a wonderful place and I am grateful for all of them.

My Mom has lived here for 4 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My Mom has been able to age in place and enjoy so many activities. She has made lots of friends too. It Is a safe place with the comfort of added services.

I had my parents here many years. The activities and outings they have for the residents is truly outstanding and will keep your parents engaged--from museums, Opera leggra and holiday events. They did a wonderful event in remarriage for all the couples...it was just lovely. The staff is genuinely caring. Penny, Sara and Patricia are truly committed to the care of of your loved ones.
