My mother needed personalized care and frequent monitoring during this last chapter of her life. Lafayette Gardens provided this service. The staff is friendly, kind, and flexible. Our family was overwhelmed with so many choices in care facilities. Meeran ( the owner/administrator) was professional, knowledgeable and helpful in our decision to choose Lafayette Gardens. The home is clean, well staffed and organized. They are accommodating with family visiting hours and pay attention to individualized care. The soups are fresh and mom loves her chocolate ice cream. We are grateful and feel comfortable that mom is receiving the care she needs.

A few years ago we knew the time was coming that my mother-in-law with Alzheimer’s would be too much for her husband to manage and she would need to live in an assisted living home.
I visited carehome and other bigger facilities but after visiting Lafayette Gardens I was clear that the other places were just institutions.

Lafayette Gardens truly was a home for my mother-in-law in the last one and a half years of her life. Because it’s small, the staff knows them personality and particular needs of all the residents.
For my mother-in-law, they knew that her afternoon agitation, when she needed to lie down for a bit with a little cuddle.
All the caregivers were wonderful and they even provided assistance in PT. All the logistics from ordering medication,  scheduling appointment with nurses, PT and OT.
When the time came Meeran  navigate us to find the right Hospice Company.
I personally feel my mother-in-law was well taken care and well respected there.

My wife and I are very happy we chose to move my 97 year old Mother to Lafayette Gardens. The owner has been very helpful, fair, and I know she is very experienced in this field. Mom's caregivers are thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. It has a warm, family atmosphere, is always clean, and also has a nice, backyard patio to enjoy the sun.

Lafayette Gardens is a cheerful home located in a lovely Lafayette neighborhood. —a great place to either take a loved one for a stroll outside or enjoy the sunny backyard deck. The caregivers are cheerful and attentive, as is Meeran, the owner. When my mother needed to be placed on hospice we were grateful that there was no need to move her anywhere else. A special thanks to Elsa, who my mother very much appreciated.
