This is a good place for your parents. Sure it has its flaws, but overall I love it for Mom, and more importantly, she loves it. My mom was so depressed after Dads passing, I tore her from her home in Michigan and brought her to Pinecrest. It took a little time, but she is better off now than she has been in 25 years. She has forged deep bonds with many residents. They get together nightly in the lobby to chat and mutually support. My mom has been living at Pinecrest Independent Living for over 10 years. She loves it there! The staff is incredible and the food in the dining room is delicious. Lots of activities if you want to stay busy. She has made so many friends there and would not want to be anywhere else!

We filled out the contact form on the company’s website and received a response within minutes — a strong start. But from there, things went downhill quickly. And frankly, it was surprising for a company of this size and visibility. The interaction gave us the clear impression that our outreach was an inconvenience — as if trying to speak with someone about improving the resident experience and internal culture was out of line. Our intent was simple: get in touch with the right person to offer support. Support that could help their current and future residents, as well as the staff who serve them. We reached out because we’ve heard repeated concerns from the community about the reputation of this facility. That’s where we step in — not to criticize, but to help. Most businesses don’t fail on purpose. But when internal problems go unaddressed, they show up loud and clear at the front line. That’s exactly what we experienced. In a space where families have choices and trust is everything, it’s disappointing to see how far the frontline experience has drifted from what real care and connection should feel like. We’ve since reached out to the regional director of operations, Melissa, to provide direct feedback and offer solutions. Our mission is simple: help businesses get better for the people they serve. We hope someone inside this organization is willing to listen.

I highly recommend Elison at Pinecrest. The staff is caring and professional. The facilities are beautiful. They offer a variety of fun activities to the residents. 5 Star!

We have observed young lady named Sana Abbas. We noticed her ability to connect with residents and colleagues alike truly sets her apart. She greets with warmth and understanding, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Her ability to make my mother feel comfortable while addressing their health needs reflects her genuine passion for people. We noticed her seamless communication. She also makes new residents feel at home, most importantly medication administration of oral and topical medications to my mother and other residents needed medication. Shows her properly support from day one. Overall, Sana seems like a remarkable employee who embodies professionalism, empathy, and excellence in every aspect of her work. She is a GEM!
