Balfour at Littleton

I have had my loved one living at Balfour Littleton for about four years and have never witnessed anything but care and compassion from the staff. Interactions from front desk staff, dining room staff, to maintenance, nursing care, activities coordinator, every single employee shows extreme care each and every day towards my loved one. Which gives me relief she is around those who really care. Balfour plans well thought out events, down to smallest of details that help families stay connected. The daily activities continue to strengthen and develop ongoing social enrichment, as well as much needed friendships. As we age it is easy to isolate this place gives them a place to feel included. Wonderful, Great and Superb in every way. Thank you to each and every staff member at Balfour Littleton.

My mother is a testament to the wonderful, caring and vibrant community that exists at Balfour Senior Living in Littleton, CO. At 96 years of age, and the happiest she has been in many years, she is thriving in the active and safe setting that exists inside and outside of those walls. Now in her fourth year at Balfour, she still looks forward to every day! Whether it is outings to the theater, a musical performance in the Jockey Club or a simple game of Scrabble, a card game or trivia, each day has so much opportunity for her to live, not simply be somewhere. Opportunities to be social with like-minded seniors and have dear friendships are what keeps her engaged day after day. I have zero doubt that living at Balfour is a huge contributor to her continued well-being and longevity. The sense of community and that her life even at her age matters is nothing short of heart-warming. The upscale Balfour dining experience makes meals yet another fun time to gather with friends and have the all important social engagement for seniors her age. We made the absolute right choice to bring Mom to Balfour Littleton. It's just so comforting to know that such a place exists and has made such a positive impact on her life! While it's incredibly sad to reflect on the passing of our loved one, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible care and support provided by the entire staff at Balfour Littleton. Despite the challenges of ALS, they showed unwavering kindness, professionalism, and genuine care throughout my friend's entire time there. The range of active events and thoughtful field trips catered to everyone, including those with mobility issues, ensuring a sense of inclusion and joy. Their dedication made a difficult journey a bit easier to navigate. In addition to their exceptional care for my friend, I'm deeply touched by how the entire staff at Balfour, from top to bottom, took the time to build meaningful relationships with my friend's friends and family. Their genuine interest and support extended beyond the individual to embrace the entire circle of loved ones, offering comfort and understanding during a challenging time. I am truly grateful for how Balfour honored and respected my friend's wishes and decisions, especially during difficult times. When issues arose, such as his expressed desire not to have his estranged family member visit, the staff handled the situation with sensitivity and professionalism. They ensured that his wishes were respected and implemented measures to protect his well-being and peace of mind. This level of advocacy and support demonstrated their unwavering commitment to advocating for the dignity and autonomy of each individual under their care. Thank you Balfour for being so compassionate and wonderful during our friend’s final year of life!

I was so delighted and surprised by the staff and management. At the worst possible moments they were wonderful. My dear friend was dying of ALS.They treated him with dignity love and respect through his process to the end. I can not say enough about the genuine caring and compassion they showed. They have become my friends after his passing. The management and staff are vested in the happiness of their clients("The Elders" as he used to say.) I was releaved,surprised and comforted that such a compassionate community existed. He was able to live and die with dignity surrounded by love. Thank You. I feel so lucky to have found Balfour for my parents. My mother has complicated medical needs and the staff has gone above and beyond to take care of her. They even let us borrow a cell phone for several weeks so that we could set up her Dexcom so the nurses and our family could monitor her blood sugar. They welcomed my Dad every night for dinner for months before he became a resident himself. The staff host amazing events with great food, cocktails, and mocktails. They have movies every night in the theater room. The facility is beautiful and has on site PT, OT, and speech therapy which has been so good for my mom. The staff took such good care of my dad before he passed. It really made such a difference to my family. I feel lucky that my mom is here and confident that she is getting excellent care.
