If I could give Teresa House 15 stars, I would. I don’t believe there is a better facility in the Dallas area to care for your loved one. My mom has dementia and was not getting the care she needed at an Asst. Living facility. My sister and I visited numerous facilities and from day one, we knew Teresa House was different. TH celebrates the life your loved ones have left and helps them enjoy every day. They have activities catered to memory care patients seven days a week. The meals are a sweet time for each house to come together (and the food is delicious). The facilities are beautiful, yet the homes feel like a home and not an industrial facility. They take impeccable care of the lawns and landscape and thought through every detail of comfortable porches and walking paths. But what sets Teresa House apart from the rest is their staff. My mom’s house has the most loving and kind ladies helping her. Fancy and Gabi are two that have been there since my mom’s first day. It was hard moving my mom but watching Fancy love on her and Gabi care for her as if she were her own mom, helps me relax and know she is in the right place. And quite frankly, my mom is with it enough that she would let us know if she was not happy (and boy would she let us know 😊). Instead, she tells us how much she likes where she lives and is always asking us “how do I thank them for helping me”? Thank you Godwin and Teresa for creating such an incredible and unique place for loved ones to live.

We had the opportunity for my mother to live there several years ago. The staff and management were very attentive to her needs. I was always Impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms in public areas. The staff to patient ratio was also dramatically better than the other facilities we considered. Their decision to put a loved one in a managed care environment is never easy, no one wants to be in that situation as the decision maker or the patient. We were always impressed at the care of the staff and how they worked to make Teresa‘s house seem like Home for each of the residence

I recently had the pleasure of touring Teresa’s House Assisted Living, and I must say—it’s truly a standout in the North Texas area. Amy was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the entire experience both informative and enjoyable. The facility is state-of-the-art, with spacious rooms, thoughtful features, and a warm, homelike atmosphere. The outdoor walkways are absolutely stunning—perfect for seniors who enjoy peaceful, scenic surroundings. It’s clear that Teresa’s House is built with care and compassion, catering to a wide range of senior needs. As the founder of Palm Tree Placement, I originally stopped by to offer referrals for placement. But after taking the tour and meeting the amazing staff, I gained a much deeper appreciation for the exceptional services they provide. Their commitment to quality care and resident well-being is truly inspiring. Thank you again to Amy and the team for the wonderful experience. I’ll be recommending Teresa’s House to families and professionals looking for top-tier assisted living options. —Hugh Eyma Palm Tree Placement

Teresa's House is fantastic. They have been so great for my wife who has dementia. They are experts in loving people with this terrible disease. The facility is great, but the staff are even better. Thank you Cassandra, Dee, Monique, Helen, Rachel, Dianne, Helen and Irina! You ladies are the best and a blessing from God!

As a senior living referral agent, I’ve toured and worked with many communities—but Teresa’s House Craig’s Ranch in McKinney is truly exceptional. I recently helped a wonderful couple move in, and their first day felt like poetry in motion. Amy Armistead, the Community Relations Director, was there ensuring everything went smoothly. Owners Godwin Dixon and Teresa Whittington personally stopped by to welcome them, and even their evening caregiver came to introduce herself—such a thoughtful, personal touch. When a family and a community come together to make a couple feel at home in this new chapter, it’s a rare and beautiful thing. Teresa’s House delivers first-class care in an environment that truly feels like home. The community is immaculate, the food is chef-prepared and delicious, and the warmth of the team is unmatched. It’s been 2-1/2 weeks since the couple moved in and part of the service I provide for families is a follow up. Yesterday, I stopped in to check on them and they are thriving. It wasn’t just a good first day! I can’t say enough about how impressed I am!
