I am so impressed with the staff at Wesley !!! From admissions with my St Hubert’s Bambi who was the first person I spoke to and adored to Patrick O’Neill the Irish lad who eased my anxiety making the entire transition easy. Then once the papers were signed and we made the decision to join the Wesley family I men Herbie and Jason who spent an entire day with me putting together furniture, hanging pictures, TV’s and reassuring me that when I am not there they will be by her side. I knew God has me at the right place !!! This is a hidden gem in the middle of our neighborhood ( Rhawnhurst ) where I was raised !! It’s full circle. I am thrilled to introduce my mom to every single member if the Wesley family !!!! Her apartment is absolutely gorgeous, spacious and clean - the layout is a perfect for natural light and I know my mom Is going to be so happy !! This was a NO BRAINER

I wish I could say better things about our family's experience with Wesley, but unfortunately, it wasn't great. The long term care facility itself could use some serious improvements; it often feels unclean and dark. While some staff members are friendly, many seemed overwhelmed and not attentive to the residents’ needs. My loved one often felt like just another number rather than a person deserving of care and dignity. Communication with families was also lacking; it was hard to get updates or answers, especially after reaching out multiple times. They rarely called back or responded to messages, which was extremely frustrating. We went days/weeks without hearing anything, particularly regarding serious issues. I really wanted to like this place, but our family's experience was disappointing, and I cannot recommend it.

My experience was initially challenging however, the collaboration between 3 individuals were exceptional to provide a caring and successful rehabilitation. Headed by the glue Nikki, Tiffany and Danielle allowed me to achieve and regain my mobility and strength in less than a week and a half… a true miracle!!! I walked. Their team work and compassion with follow thru for exceptional service delivery was accomplished. In addition, the therapy department is outstanding. Angie the caring drill sergeant and Joe the skilled caring OT therapist are exceptional. Please let me not forget Dr. O. who is a one of kind doctor. So forever grateful they took such wonderful care of me. Thank You❤️. Dr. M.

My mom has been at Wesley since last summer. She started in personal care and infortunately had to move to skilled nursing a few months ago. The staff is great, the facility is clean. I definately feel my mom is getting good care here.

My mother’s been here a few months and I have no complaints s far about the care she’s receiving on her floor. Everyone in the floor seems nice and attentive but my mom doesn’t require much one on one help. However….. I’ve had multiple issues with the staff who work at the front desk. Today the man at the front desk (who’s name is Aaron) was aggressively yelling at my daughter an I for “setting off his alarm” while trying to exit my moms floor. There is no one around to let you out. The sticker on the door says press the handle and wait 15 seconds. That’s what I did. But 10 seconds later he was on the other side of the door screaming at me that I did it wrong. If it’s that serious then someone should be there to let guests in and out or proper instructions should be posted because how else would anyone who doesn’t work there know?! Then when I asked him multiple times if there was a supervisor I could speak to he ignored me. I asked him 4 times. Finally he responded with “do whatever you want to do” I had to go back to my mothers floor to find out who I should contact about it. This is the second time I’ve been treated that way by someone at the front desk. Nobody should be made to feel uncomfortable when they come to visit their loved ones! If you don’t like your job go work somewhere else Aaron!! I’ll be putting in a complaint in the morning. The only complaint I do have about the floor is that ,on multiple occasions, residents have wandered into my mothers room at different times of the day AND during the night and she has to figure out how to get them to leave on her own. She shouldn’t have to do that. I’m assuming they are patients with dementia. It makes my mom feel unsafe though. Those patients should be watched more carefully for their own safety and the safety of the other residents.
