"My mom was a resident at this facility for several months. She had been residing at another rehabilitation facility in Fort Pierce (Laurel Pointe) that left a lot to be desired. My sister and myself were not pleased and decided to look for a better place. A Place for Mom and Sunshine gave us long lists of Assisted Living places to choose from. After narrowing down our choices to two (Comfort Care being one), we interviewed the owner and staff. What a blessing! Mom passed away (yesterday, August 1, 2018), but her stay was pleasant, she was well cared for, and she was treated with dignity and respect. Considering her circumstances (advanced dementia), one can only hope the people taking care of your loved ones do a professional job in a clean and peaceful place. Only 6 beds and a few staff make this personalized service. If you are lucky to be able to place your family member at this facility, and like us have limited financial means, you will feel as blessed as we were when the choice was made. Thank you Marcia and the rest of your staff for everything you did for mom!"
