San Juan Villa was a finalist for best assisted living in Jefferson County, by the readers of the Peninsula Daily News in 2012. Our small, 32-resident community provides our residents with a home-like setting and the freedom of movement and choice, receiving individual attention in a warm and caring atmosphere. I am deeply grateful to the caring staff at San Juan Villa for creating an environment that my 98-year-old auntie feels IS home, where she relates to the staff as her family. The setting, inside and out, is warm and inviting. Residents seem happy overall and certainly well cared for. Our family is very fortunate that our auntie gets to call San Juan Villa her home.

It makes me feel confident my cousin, Barbara is in such a wonderful care facility. The staff and administrators are so very kind and helpful. They always call me with any concerns or questions concerning my cousin. They are always having something to celebrate and fun activities for their residents. This facility goes above and beyond for their residents from the family holiday meals to gardening supplies and everything in between. The facility puts their residents first. You can see this in the residents behaviors, smiling, comfort with staff, healthy meals and staff retention. This is a facility of caring, kind, dedicated professionals.
