BROOKDALE SAN RAMON

I received a phone call from MJ asking to tour beautiful San Ramon community. My first reaction was NO WAY!!! I am going to move my mom to this community but MJ sales and Marketing manager at Brookdale San Ramon was very compassionate and persistence. She insisted that I should meet her new team, loving caregivers and Happy Resident. She sounded very genuine so I decide to tour. We can feel the positive energy the minute we walk inside. This was nothing like we read reviews. I am glad my mother moved into this beautiful facility which is surrounded by hills. I can't tell you how happy she is. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and have gone above and beyond with socialization for my mom. I believe that she is having great time at this Brookdale San Ramon Community. There have been many social functions happy hours, bingo, movie nights with fun activities and interesting learning opportunities. Thank you MJ for changing our mind, you are the gem of this community. I have interacted with a number of other facilities for my mom, and hands down, this is by far the best. I hope you get all the attention you deserve. -RR

What a fantastic place. So welcoming, great knowlegable friendly staff. Residents were doing their daily workout and then worked with a flower designer and made their own arrangements. Never seen that type of residents engaged in hands on craft at any other place. To say I was impressed is an understatment

I am extremely disappointed with the operations at this place. Opposite of what I was sold on by sales manager. Severe lack of communication and organization at this facility. Important issues, like resident care and safety, are often overlooked. The management team is unresponsive Despite several attempts to address these issues, nothing seems to improve. Administrator does not return phone calls. Staffing shortages are a constant problem, and it directly affects the quality of care my Aunt facing. In some instances, I've noticed a lack of follow-through on promises made, which is very frustrating when it comes to the well-being of our loved ones. I am looking for different options as My aunt is unhappy at this place and management. I will not recommend this facility until these critical issues are addressed.

My mother has been at Brookdale for 10 years now and has absolutely loved it! When she arrived, she loved the activities and the residents. As her condition has declined she (and I) have been so grateful for the Caregivers and staff. They have been heroic in their care for her (especially during the Covid challenges) - we're so happy she's there.

My Grandfather moved here almost 2 years ago. The staff and nurses are extremely attentive with communicating items needed and when meds need to be refilled. The activities are great and although not all are for everyone, there is enough that everyone can get involved in something every day. My Grandfather has met so many friends and is so much happier having community than being at home alone. I love being able to visit, have a meal with him or join in during an activity. I often stop by unannounced and everyone is welcoming and on point. I feel comfortable with him being here when I’m traveling because I know he’s in good hands. Niare is a dream come true to this facility. The residents seem happier and know that she truly cares about their individual needs. She’s an asset and we are so lucky to have her in our community.
