Elizabeth, Juan Carlos and their two small children opened their first Adult Family Home in 1994. Bringing with them 12+ years of experience working at the Department of Social & Health Services creating and implementing behavior modification plans, with a focus on reducing or avoiding the use of pharmaceuticals to control behaviors for a very challenging population. That experience forged their way of thinking when working with the elderly and vulnerable adults, the goal being to provide quality of life without the use of behavioral controlling pharmaceuticals when it can be avoided.
