I haven't had the experience yet I dealt with this company when I was in Clover SC and they've done a really good job I would give them a five-star rating but I had moved to Leesville Lexington branch. My gallbladder had I spent two weeks in the hospital the only way I can come home is if I had something set up through rehab and Home Health Care, so my wife got a chance to speak to the case manager one time they had both her number and my number and my wife work say 46 hour week job Monday through Friday she has friends that come in and check on me and help me and get things that I need during the day. They said they spoke with my wife once and they have tried to call repeatedly and never got any response but like I said they not only had her number they had mine as well and I did not hear anything from them! I came out of the hospital on the 18th of September and now it is the 29th of September I needed the help that week after I got home. My wife was the one that was having to do all my bandage changes bathing trying to get me up on a walker or from the bed recliner or from the bed to the shower along with working a 46-hour a week job. So she does not have much time to take voicemails make calls especially when her employer frowns upon them having their phones on them while there on the floor. I had gotten the case managers voicemail from last night she had called it 8:00 p.m. Sunday night while my wife was trying to get my bandage changed after giving me a bath and getting bed clothes put on to where she helped me in the bed. I got the case managers message this morning after my wife got me out of bed and got me to the recliner so it told me to call her back as soon as I got the message I'm sorry at 6:45 I did call that number back and she pretty much told me that she is not at work so she will not be on her job until 8:00. Sorry I didn't mean to cause this lady any kind of inconvenience by calling that time. To be truthfully honest with you my wife has been working with me and doing everything that amedisys has supposably doing since the 18th of September. I understand they had my wife's number as the main number but they had a secondary number as well which was mine. At this point I don't believe I need home health or rehab especially from amedisys. I may end up speaking with my wife tonight and when that case manager comes out Wednesday or I may just call her tomorrow and just tell them that we do not need amedisys because my wife has been doing everything that they should have been doing before now!
I was refered to them by a local hospital for my mother. I called them the day after discharge, and was advised someone would be out the next day. No one showed. Someone sent a text message while my mom was at her appointment for oncology. I asked if it could be rescheduled. No one ever replied. No one has reached out. My mother received neither PT or OT.
The nurse called Kyle is not good at all and does not take care of the patients like all the others do. He sits in his car for 30 minutes and comes in to check patient and says everything is fine and leaves. It ends up with a call to another nurse and now the patient is in bad shape and on 2 antibiotics. He doesn’t seem to have any compassion for patients he is suppose to be taking care of. I wished they would give him another position and not with any patients at all. Very disappointed and if something happens to her this week because he failed to do his job then that will be another story.
I recently had a total hip replacement. Michael came to our house six times. He was VERY professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. I would highly recommend him to everyone. Thank you doesn’t seem adequate so I thought a very positive review was in order😁😁
I had a total knee replacement back in Dec 2019 and I had chosen this company as my in home therapist. My therapist was awesome and very kind. Her name is Shavell. She helped me get through the first couple of weeks successfully. Thank you so much.
