Very appreciative of the care provided by RN Crystal! she was so kind and caring. she communicated very well with me about her visits and what to expect. she ordered my supplies in a timely fashion. Most importantly, she had great assessment skills and was knowledgeable and listened. You should be proud of the wonderful employee you have!

We were introduced to Amedisys Home Health Care just over a year ago in a time of medical crisis for both my mom and my stepdad. Once they were both released from the hospital and the rehab the Amedisys team stepped in to support them/us with in home health care - they sent nurses for wellness and wound care checks, they sent PTs and OTs to work with them in the home to increase strength and endurance, they partnered with a nurse practitioner who called for weekly telehealth visits and of which truly helped to ease their transition home. Fast forward, 1 year later, and both my mom and stepdad ended up in the hospital (covid/pneumonia) and then rehab and we were advised to engage home health care upon their return home - I knew just who we needed/wanted - I asked the rehab to contact Amedisys and I requested that they assign the same team, from a year ago, to my mom and stepdad. Gina with Amedisys contacted me immediately after receiving the orders from the rehab and to my pleasant surprise she remembered me/us, she let me know that she had already assembled our original team, which greatly reduced my stress as the caregiver and gave my mom and stepdad comfort by seeing familiar faces. First visit wa with the owner, and was hopeful to of found home health help that was professional. Cam not count the total of no shows, that proceeded with there normal staff. I had given up trying to utilize the UHC perk. Until I desperately needed some help. 3 No shows in a row, 1 called in sick and I was easy all I ever had them do is help me with paperwork I never expected anybody to clean anything plus one of the girls that did some cleaning didn't even know how to do dishes it was almost scary so I just had them help me sort paperwork. Most of them just want to come and sit and talk and get paid I was told from their management that they prefer Direct Cash pay clients because then they can give them the same person obviously the insurance paid scheduling is not a priority it was a complete inconvenience leaving me hanging for hours adjusting my schedule just to have a couple hours of help completely irresponsible company as I thought originally when they were trying to use me to get to a contact for a Elder age group agency. I definitely would not recommend this company. I wish I could refer somebody great however I have given up .

I contacted Gina Pawlowski when my mother has been having increased difficulty with her balance and falls. Her mobility had really declined the last several months- she lived in her own apartment for years but due to the loss of strength and her balance issues, as her son and POA, I was needing to consider some level of assisted living for her. However, before doing that, I wanted to intervene with more therapy and care for her before we did the drastic move. Gina handled everything in terms of coordinating with my mom’s PCP. She followed up with me multiple times and the therapists assigned to mom’s case were great. I highly recommend Gina and the team at Amedisys.

Forgot to leave my review last month. Gina in Phoenix was a huge help. She was very patient with me while helping me with discharge paperwork for a family member. Truly appreciate all the staff that helped out. I recommend Amedisys for all your home health care.
