Nightingale Home Healthcare
Nightingale Home Healthcare
Nightingale Home Healthcare is a Medicare-certified home health agency serving Stamford, Connecticut and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified home health agency provides skilled nursing services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, medical social services, and home health aide services to patients in their homes.
Medicare covers home health services for patients who are homebound and require skilled nursing care or therapy services on an intermittent basis. A physician must certify that the patient needs home health care and establish a plan of care.
Home health agencies are certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and must meet federal Conditions of Participation. These requirements ensure that agencies provide quality care, maintain proper documentation, and protect patient rights.
Medicare beneficiaries pay no cost for covered home health services when provided by a Medicare-certified agency. For more information about home health benefits, visit Medicare.gov. Compare home health agency ratings at Medicare Care Compare.
Quality ratings and agency data are updated periodically by CMS. We recommend verifying current information at Medicare Care Compare.

Though there is some good people who work here and care, the ones who don’t make life a nightmare. They should rename themselves Nightmare home care. They feel it’s okay to just show up for visits randomly without a call. They didn’t assist in helping with new medication or even looking at pill box, as we are battling with dosages weekly. They signed a contract to send an aide, and are most likely billing the insurance for it. Which we only had one visit and it was 2x a week and we are on week 3. The visiting nurse says we don’t get it, the office says we do, and the contract says the insurance has approved it, and we will be getting it. So don’t trust these people with your loved ones.. I feel they have taken advantage of my elderly loved one, with random people just showing without notice has left her vulnerable to letting people in her home that may not even be part of there group. All anyone would need to harm her is to know she elderly and to pretend to be a nurse.. very unprofessional, and I am still looking into what they have charged the insurance, because the services they wrote down and signed, haven’t been met!
