My rating is 0!!! I strongly do not recommend this company for your family members, especially if you have children with disabilities. Do not waste your time with people who are not professionals, lack the necessary qualifications, and have no idea how to handle your child! Our family spent two years with this company, which fed us promises of finding specialists to come to our home to assist with and teach our two children with autism. I have nothing good to say about the experience, except that we lost something that cannot be recovered—time. The company hires people off the street, with training done at home during therapy sessions. Managers and supervisors are very rude, disrespectful, and indifferent. The only thing the company cares about is sending invoices to the insurance company. If you expect this company to help teach your children to use the bathroom or eat with a fork and spoon, forget about it! Therefore, no one will bother with such tasks. Also, be prepared for your children to be given tablets or phones, which the company considers "therapy breaks." You might also find that your therapist is an 18-year-old who has your hyperactive child run around the house, or count how many times the child throws toys into a pool. This is the entirety of the therapy. An hour before the session ends, company employees begin filling out paperwork, so they should not be disturbed. Frequent tardiness or even not showing up for work at all is considered normal. Management does not respond to complaints in any meaningful way and will instead blame your family for anything to justify their actions. I would not recommend this company to anyone, ever!!! Take care of yourselves and your children.

I did my best with this home health care company, I really tried to make it work for my daughter who needs nursing. They have extremely unprofessional nurses working for them, communication is poor, they are judgmental, and they like to argue instead of listening to the parents. If you are a parent, I urge you to research all of your options for home health care.

I have had an amazing experience with everyone who has served my child. The BCBA was AMAZING at getting my insurance mess figured and so helpful with that entire process. Their communication to about scheduling therapy for my kiddo has been top notch. And the office staff has been professional and kind with all issues. I waited for months for ABA services until I found them. Now I am so thankful for everyone at the Tampa location and all the support they have given my family.

Another typical example of a corporate run company caring more about money than the health and safety of the sick children they promised to provide care for. What kind of home health company for critical children cares more about the bottom line money, than providing the nursing care they promised to families in need? We’ve been with Maxim for 3.5 years. They decided they absolutely will not pay willing nurses overtime even if that means leaving the patient and families with no care. My husband has lost a job, and I’m on the verge of losing a job due to having to call out constantly when we have last minute shifts open for our son that they refuse to let our willing nurses work. They don’t care about the patients or the families. There is an extreme nursing shortage and even though they have good nurses willing to work extra shifts to help out these families with sick kids, Maxim does not care. It’s all about money with them. I’ve reached out to higher up people including Anthony Liberty and my concerns about our open shifts (even though our 2 nurses are willing to work them but are told they can’t) have been ignored. That just proves how little they care about the sick babies they promise to provide care for, and how much they only care about money. I NEVER write bad reviews, but I’m my sons advocate, and the poor care he’s been given has gone on long enough.

I have been working with Maxim for over one year, and they are a company of integrity. The office staff has always assisted me to make sure I have the support needed while working in the patient's home. I appreciate how they ensure that compliance is maintained to help keep my license secure.
