I highly recommend Amedisys for in-home physical therapy.  They contacted me shortly after my surgery to set up a time to meet with Tim, the team supervisor.  Tim did a brief intake, after which I was assigned a physical therapist (Phil) who worked with me for about three weeks.  Both individuals were professional but friendly and easygoing.  They explained what would be happening during my recovery and were very supportive and encouraging as we worked towards my recovery goals.  When I started outpatient P/T, they were very impressed with what I’d accomplished with Amedisys.  Overall, it was the kindness and encouragement of these two individuals that made this such a successful process.

This was my second of two post- knee replacement recoveries with at home care by Amedysis.  Very pleased both times. Intake and outtakes were punctual, thorough, and professional, with plenty of time allowed for questions.  Caregivers in both cases have been exceptional - knowledgeable, caring, friendly, and disciplined about hitting the right milestones over two weeks.  Feel ready to go on to the out of home PT that will follow next week. Would recommend highly to any patients requiring at home care.
