"This company changed management and changed from Assurasource to Assurance at home. I worked for Assurasource for over 6 years and Assurance at home from December 2017 to March 2018. I resigned March of this year. I could not work for Justyn and Denise due to their lack of knowledge and ethics. They tell families that they drug test and conduct background checks. They do not drug test and provide a basic background check. They tell families that their caregivers are trained and have a backup caregiver for each case most are basic babysitters. They tell families they conduct surprise home visits to ensure quality of care they do not. The last case they assigned me to had been so neglected by the caregiver and supervisor Denise. I worked for 3 days cleaning the kitchen, bathroom,bedroom and laundry. There was cat waste throughout the house and had been there for a couple of months. There were huge roaches dead in the kitchen and throughout the house. Piles of laundry hidden in the garage. When I spoke to Denise and asked her how long it had been since she checked on this case I was not given an answer. I explained the condition of the home and that I had spoke to the family and told them they and their loved one had been taken advantage. And that after seeing how this company allowed this to happen that I would be resigning. The family fired the company and hired my directly. When the family contacted Denise her response was sorry we dropped the ball. I have documented and can provide proof with photos. After I resigned I was reviewing my pay stubs and found they did not pay me for overtime. After speaking to Denise for over 3 weeks regarding my pay, hearing false promises that they would take care of this realized I was wasting my time. Neither Justyn or Denise have the knowledge, ethics, or character to care for their employees or the families they work for. This was enough to make me ashamed for both of them and the industry. I have recently noticed that Justin one of the top management team has felt the need to give his company of five star review. "
