The office staff led by Amie was adamant when speaking to third parties, insisting that the third party treat my mom just like they would their own. Rosa and Tiffany my mom's home health aide and nurse, respectively, provided the professional patience and courtesy needed when dealing with those who are vulnerable and requiring special care, especially the elderly. Owner/Director Maria and Director of Nursing Amie understood how important PT was in preventive care and rehabilitation, for patients with incurable conditions, like my mother, who had Parkinson's Disease. These ladies also helped me bridge the gap between healthcare providers to produce nothing but positive outcomes each and every time. They were completely there for me anytime I called, at any time of day. They always made me feel like I was the only client they had- and went above and beyond for me on numerous occasions. They even communicated with my mother's Assisted Living Care Facility. Further, the Veritas team was there for me when my father needed help after having heart surgery and took the time to explain his long-term care policy and healthcare benefits in detail. My parents received five-star service from Case Manager Tamika to Physical Therapist Assistant Sydney. We were also assigned the most fantastic Nurse, Dawn, who provided such loving and attentive care. I would also like to mention that the therapists regularly showed up on time, and anytime the office staff said they would call me back, they did 100% of the time. There were several days where I wanted my mother to have extra private-duty help at the last minute, and somehow Nurse Amie pulled through, making it happen, finding me a great HHA or CNA. When my mother needed new orders for: PT, OT, and ST, etc. Veritas was one step ahead of me, getting the job done before I could even ask. They really anticipated my family’s needs. Before using Veritas, I had been through three different nursing agencies, all of which ended up being disappointing due to their lack of organization and absence of follow-through. Over the last six years I have employed numerous agencies to provide care for my mother. Unfortunately, the experience has been less than comforting. Maria is a liar.. promised get back to me and never did I called dozens of times. Her voice mail is fill so she doesnt receive any messages . Phone services are off at my 96 year old mother's house. Birthdays and holidays there is no way to reach my mother since I live thousands of miles away. So my mother believes that no one cares. Awful service creepy irresponsible people
