If I could give zero stars, I would. Oxford Home Health was hired to provide care for my sick and elderly mother. We had a clear conversation on Friday to have someone come out on Saturday — and then nothing. No call, no show. I called twice and left detailed messages with my name, number, and the situation. The first call was because we truly needed urgent assistance. The second was to let them know to forget it — because by then, my mother had already been taken to the hospital. Shes home - we even attempted to give them another chance today, but instead of honoring that, they tried to push the intake off until tomorrow. To make matters worse, my aunt received some completely conflicting message about a staff member possibly coming today — if they could fit it in before their kid’s soccer practice. That is not just unprofessional, it is downright appalling. Dependability is the absolute baseline expectation for a Home Health provider. Showing up and communicating should not be an amenity but the standard. Oxford failed on every front. The administrator did eventually call me back, but by then it was far too late. The damage was done, and we had already made the decision to fire them and find a better alternative. If you value reliability, communication, and compassion in caring for your loved ones, look elsewhere. Oxford Home Health is not a company you can trust when it matters most. Oxford — there’s no need to reply to this review with the usual “please call us so we can discuss further.” We’ve already done that. This review is for those families who don’t have the time, energy, or emotional bandwidth to be jerked around when their loved one’s health is on the line.

Not a good place. Calllights rarely gets answered food is awful. Laundry never gets done. They never brush grandpa teeth. Housekeeping is a joke. Door system is a joke. Put grandpa in bed with pants pulled down. For what reason so u don’t have to dress him or for them to get wet. Lazy. Oh more laundry more work. Patient care is just awful. There is more to patient care than to change a dirty diaper.

I live at University Village Oxford helps me to Shower, laundry, And with dress assist morning and evening. I team if have helping me Veronica, Kaylin, And Cydney are sweet, Kind, and very helpful. I cannot stand to get in and out of the shower so I use a slide board that I I use to transfer from my wheelchair to the shower bench. The girls have learned just the right way to help put the slide board underneath me and help me to get into the shower, we work together as a team and it works perfectly They gladly help me with other items and never complain, even though it isn’t part of their job description like the time I need help cleaning my apartment out so that new carpeting could be put in my apartment. Veronica pitched in and helped me move items and then came back to move me back. I am in a wheelchair chair and it so difficult for me to do that kind of stuff. Signing up with Oxford has been the best decision I have ever made. I could not ask for sweeter kinder group of people to work with. They show up on time and always say that my needs are met before they leave. I have never had a bad experience working with these ladies. It is always positive and always feel safe when they are near. They help to make my life better while dealing with The stroke that has taken away my ability to walk But with there help I can lead a more normal life and continued to be an active person and do the things I love to do. There are just not words enough to say how much I appreciate these young ladies at Oxford as I said, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made and they continue to bless me each day with their presence. They’re smiling faces. I just love them I hope to have them and Oxford working here at University Village a long time I would be so miserable without Their hell beach day so thank you University Village for allowing Oxford to conduct business from here and thank you, Oxford for allowing me to choose you as one of my best helpers ever.
