Nightingales Home Care is a locally owned and operated home care agency. We have been serving the home care needs of Grand Valley residents since 2005. We are invested in your care and in the overall quality of life in our community. The Grand Valley is our home as it is yours. Janet Walker started Nightingales in 2005, her vision and efforts were instrumental in setting the standard for home care services here in the Grand Junction area. Martin Boyce and Jeremiah Miller acquired the company in 2018. We believe people recover quicker, are the happiest, and thrive in a familiar environment—their own homes and if possible, everyone should have the option to “age in place.” Quality home care allows the client to stay in control of their own life. Their routines and home remain theirs, while maintaining independence and a consistent quality of life. Elderly clients, such as those experiencing dementia and macular degeneration, do better in their home environment to which they more comfortable and familiar. We strive to honor our clients wishes through excellent customer service and client care. Services are customized to each client through collaboration with the client and their family. Good home care helps maintain a clean environment, provides good meals, companionship, and a sense of safety and security.
