Such a refreshing knowledge to see that this company goes above and beyond to match clients with the caregiver that fits. They let you know upfront the expectations of caregiver and client so the best service is guaranteed. I must add to this that I have an angel of a caregiver. Cindy is the best. I can't say how blessed I am to have a caring, knowledgeable, and just plain sweet lady to help me. She made me feel special. Thanks Essential Care and thank you Cindy.

Chris butler seemed to really want to fulfill care services, however, very difficult to retain caregiver, the one I did receive, was late EVERY DAY!!! Hours were 10-3, but the caregiver had issues every day!!! Showing up at 10:30-11:30– VERY FRUSTRATING!!! When this issue was brought to attention, I was told, I needed to give her until 10:30, because things can happen in morning and I needed to give her extra time to get to my house! Never had that type of flexibility!! If I’m supposed to be at work at 10, that means 10– not 10:30, 11:00, or 11:30! You’re an adult and should be able to get to work at designated time! I understand things can happen, but if it’s an EVERY DAY occurrence— that shouldn’t be acceptable or tolerated, but I was told, I needed to be more flexible— I’m sorry, but reliability is critical and I can understand how something unexpected can occur and can set someone back, but again, should not be an everyday occurrence!!! Caregiver would be at least half hour late, sometimes an hour, then rushing to get tasks done so she could hurry up and leave! Many times tasks not completed or done carelessly because she wanted to leave. Never had opportunity to discuss with her, as once she did finally arrive— there was always an issue that made it impossible to find time to discuss fully. Never had a company with such difficulty finding reliable, competent caregivers. Very nice people in office, but lack competent, reliable caregivers.very difficult to connect especially since manager is only there from 10-4– must be nice— not for clients needing assistance.

This company isn't what they say they they are. Could not fill my my afternoon hours needed. They lady they did send at first was always on the phone never paid attention to me so if I had a seizure she would have never known it. The owner pushed keeping her here. I also went to the office one day and he stopped us at the door saying clients wasn't allowed in the office ( which I was told later he was told other wise) that made me very upset. Every time I tried to talk I was intrupinted and was just tired of trying to get my point across by that point. Please be careful in choosing a company that assertive to your needs.

Essential Care helped take care of my Aunt in the final days of her battle with cancer. They were awesome and a very caring group of people to work with. Thanks to them we were able to keep her at home which is what she wanted.
