They listened to our needs and spent time with my mother to insure she would be partnered with a care giver best suited for her. How blessed we were to have Senior Helpers in our lives. And that is truly what they became, part of our lives. We started services a few years ago, providing my Mom with help in having some household chores, cleaning, and personal care done. Through the years, as my Mom’s health declined,... Senior Helpers rose to the challenge of meeting up to 24 hours a day of care in the last years of my Mom’s life. This challenge was met with an unwavering dedication to my Mom, and they determinedly ensured all shifts were staffed. The compassion by the staff was so much so, that these caregivers became part of our family in many ways. Now that my Mom has passed, I’ve realized that they have truly left a void in my life. But when it was needed, I knew Senior Helpers was always there. I slept many a Pm at peace knowing they surrounded my Mom with the care she needed, and even more importantly, with heartfelt compassion. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Senior Helpers. I am eternally grateful they became part of our lives.

When it became time that my 97 year old father needed some help showering and getting dressed in the morning, I contacted Senior Helpers to see what they could do. They were able to meet my dad’s preferred schedule and provided the help he needed. In addition to the help washing up and dressing, they also made sure he had some breakfast and got his bed made. The added bonus was how much he enjoyed the conversation and personal interaction with the staff, even as they were kindly reminding him to use his walker. It was a really nice way for my dad to start his day.  I would certainly use Senior Helpers again.

Senior Helpers is a tremendous organization offering personal and friendly support to its clients.  No task is too small or too huge - their team is there to help.  Their work is prompt, focused and professional.  It is also amazing that their good work has remained on target despite the trying times we are all living in during 2020.  Their efforts are a welcome peace-of-mind to not only their clients, but to their clients' families.
