Affordable Medical Resources

Affordable Medical Resources is okay, but they don't answer the phone on weekends, and it's already difficult as it is for them to answer your calls through the weekdays. I have spoken to a few kind people at the company but needs major improvements when it comes to vetting to find the right caregivers that has credentials and skills to do the work.

Do not get with this company , they do not care about their clients . Do not answer the phone after hours so if aid doesn’t show up you’re just on your own and that goes for the paralyzed as well who can’t do anything for themselves and need the care!! When you finally do talk to somebody they tell you the same story “ we are currently looking for somebody” or “ we just interviewed somebody and will be sending them over for training” home health is suppose to keep clients out or nursing homes and in the comfort of their own homes but with care like this they might be better off at the nursing homes, at least the nurses show up there !

We have been with this service for the past @8 weeks or more. They DO NOT HAVE an after hours telephone number for clients to call. They DO NOT call to notify you if a caregiver calls out or if they do not have anyone to send. They simply leave you without CARE! They DO NOT have enough caregivers. Most importantly if their caregivers decide they want to resign from your case, THEY ARE NOT REQUIRED to give notice! They simply assign them to someone else and the cycle continues. We have had caregivers to come stay for a few hours but place more hours on their timesheet. Sana, staffing coordinator is rude and over talks while you are talking. Sana is loud and doesn’t appear to understand customer service. She should not be allowed to talk to their customers. I WOULD NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY HAVE LEFT MY MOM WITHOUT CARE MOST NIGHTS.

This company worked for us for barely 2 weeks. One caregiver didn’t show up 2 times. No call no show . And the weekend caregiver stole 2 checks from my 85 year old grandmother and wrote them to herself, forged my gma’s signature and the. Cashed them. The company said they were sorry….. and they would send someone else. Ummm no thanks. Police report filed. Charges pending.

Horrible company ! They don’t deserve to work with the elderly. They will leave your family to die if left in their care. They do not answer the phone nor return calls. They let the CNAS decide when they want to come to work and under service has started they neglect all their patient family complaints. I’m switching my grandmothers company first chance I get. Run from these people ! They left my paraplegic diabetic grandmother to die when I was running errands, no phone call nothing, not even an apology. This company is just waiting for a lawsuit !!!
