Medicrest Home Care

I referred a patient with CCSP to this company. Brandon answered the phone and was very good: patient, compassionate, and helpful. That's not often common in this industry. I'm pleased to say this was a uniquely good experience so far.

Medicrest Home Care is an amazing company. The administration and staff are responsive, compassionate and have treated my parents like family. On several occasions, the owner came by after hours to bring food and check on my parents. I did not have to ask her for this extra help, she volunteered! The caregiver has changed her schedule at a moment's notice and stayed all night during emergencies. Finding the perfect caregiver for your loved ones is stressful, but when that time comes, this company is a God send!

Over the past eight years I have used caregivers from Medicrest Home Care on several occasions. My first experience with this company was eight years ago when my mother, who until this point, had never been ill, was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer and my father was newly home from a year long nursing home stay after a stroke. My severely debilitated mother came home from the hospital needing 24 hour care and support. From my first phone call, the staff of Medicrest was compassionate, informative, and professional. My mother's care presented some unique challenges that the staff graciously worked with me to resolve. They spoke in length with me about my mother and our family in order to get a sense of which available caregiver would be the best fit to work with my mother. I was told from the beginning of her care that if for any reason the caregiver was not working out I could request a change be made with no lengthy discussion required. I actually utilized this option when the personality of one caregiver was not working with where my mother was emotionally at that time. The change was promptly made without it becoming awkward and uncomfortable for me. My mother was a nurse for 54 years and at no time was she dissatisfied with the skills, professionalism, or compassion of the caregivers staying with her. The new caregiver was a blessing to my mother and our family. She helped our family walk through the final stages of my mother's painful bone cancer by constantly working to make my mother as comfortable as possible, but also allowing mom's days to have joy and laughter. During the recent years at different times, I have used caregivers from Medicrest for short and long term assistance with both my aging in laws and my father. Each time all of the staff and caregivers working with them have been extremely qualified, respectful, unfailingly dependable, wonderfully compassionate, and friendly with my loved ones. Without fail, there has been as deep sense of regret that the help is no longer required because the pleasure and enjoyment of being with the caregivers will be missed. This company diligently works to create a sense of normalcy to the lives of the patient and family of those unexpectedly disrupted by the turmoil of illness and debilitation. If the need arises again, without hesitation, my first call will be to Medicrest Home Care.

I have personally watched the staff go the extra mile for their clients and caregivers. I am amazed that the employees of Medicrest Home Care, live by the motto to be professional, caring and do whatever it takes to make sure everyone is safe, well cared for and with the proper PPE and equipment. I have also sat in a few of their in service training where they take the extra time to do hands on training with each member and listen to their concerns and address situations immediately. I can actually say I would use their services for my mother and not worry about her due to the fact I know she would be in good hands.

This company take absolutely no initiative in the personal care or safety of its clients or associates. They’re here to push people around with no explanation. This company expects YOU to resolve the issue they cause or you’ll be responsible for lack of care. -Update; I’ve left my name and contact information with their office still no action or accountability taken to remedy their issues they caused. Abysmal service.
