Visiting Angels of the Berkshires/Shelburne Falls is an award-winning living assistance agency providing superior, non-medical in-home care to seniors and adults living in Pittsfield, Berkshires, Shelburne Falls and the surrounding communities. We are locally owned and operated providing rewarding careers to our community. We opened in 2016, as the owner wanted to give back after a long career in engineering. As his parents were aging in their home of more than 60 years, he wanted to help and understand how to ensure quality care would be provided to his parents so they could stay in their home. So we exist to help folks in Western Massachusetts remain in their homes by providing compassionate, reliable, & experienced caregivers delivering quality, dependable, & caring living assistance services! We want to help other family’s in similar situations as ours.

When my mother-in-law was dying of cancer, Visiting Angels was considerate, compassionate, and quick to respond. The PCAs who came into our home were knowledgeable and kind, and so very good at what they do. Everything from companionship to mealtimes to personal care to handling my mother in law's tiny dogs so they wouldn't bark while people were visiting, plus getting my kitchen cleaner than it's been in weeks, most of it without me needing to even ask or explain.
Hospice work is a calling, and not everyone can handle it -- Dawn and Ashley and all the admin staff at Visiting Angels, you have our lasting thanks for helping us hold it all together during the worst of it. My family will be forever grateful for your expert care.
