A PLACE AT HOME NORTH AUSTIN

I contacted multiple companies on a Friday afternoon when I was desperate for some relief in caring for my father. This was the only company who could help me on short notice and eased my burden. We had a multitude of caregivers since we were working to provide 24 hour a day coverage over a long weekend, but every single one I worked with -- and I worked with them all -- were compasionate and cared not only for my ailing father, but for my emotional well being as well. Haydee spend multiple days with in and not only cared for my dad with dignity, she did everything she could to make our lives better. Ana come on shift as the hospice nurse was there trying to make dad more confortable and she jumped in. I honestly believed she cared about dad and she certainly watched over him. I can not say enough good things about the company. Every time we had a new caregiver, they were introduced by the owner and she explained what needed to happen and gave clear expectations for dad's care. I honestly don't know what I would have done without this team of people.

We are so glad to be working with A Place At Home. Stacey, the owner really takes the time to get to know your family and the needs you have. Raegan is our caregiver and she is awesome - Happy and communicative so we always know what's going on, even when we are not there. So appreciative for the burden that has been lifted through these amazing folks!

Stacy made my mother in law feel very comfortable during a discussion about getting help at home. She also provided ideas about senior living communities nearby and ways my MIL could test out via rental before making any decisions. Make sure to give her a call!

First of all, this is an amazing company very professional, very friendly very understanding for what you’re needing as far as care for an individual. Second, I must say that as a full-time employee, a full-time mom and a full-time wife who takes care of my mother-in-law who is 80 years old, with the beginning stages of dementia it’s very hard to balance out everything but A Place at Home has already made life easier. I came home yesterday and my mother-in-law’s caretaker Deneen had lifted a heavy burden off me she cleaned off all of my mother-in-law’s gifts from her birthday celebration off my dining room table, cleaned up her room nicely. My mother-in-law was excited about her room and I was as well thank you again Deneen for going over and beyond.
