Alyse Took care of my father for a year and a half. During that time there was about seven different people taking care of my father (Harry). They were all very adequate in dispensing of their duties. However, Alyse’s style of home health care was far superior than the others. She was able to make him dance, smile. tell stories, eat, and do his physical therapy. Those two hours he was jovial the rest of the day he was very morose and depressed. My father was suffering from dementia and 80 years old and very depressed about his situation and his stage of life but those two hours she came to bathe him and exercise him were like a party for him. It wasn’t like that right off the bat but she quickly gained his confidence, trust, and love. You combined her wealth of knowledge on the proper ways of physically taking care of the elderly and her unique style of engagement with the client generated a very productive and happy time for my father at a point in his life where he needed it the most. She checks up on him still even though we had to put him in assisted-living . She regularly calls me up and asks “how is my Harry.” That kind of commitment and respect is a rare thing and when it’s found, it should be promoted and this is why I am writing these heartfelt words today.
