Matalau Home Care is wonderful. I can not say enough good things about them. I needed someone to take care of my husband who had Alzheimer's. I wanted someone who was knowledgeable and caring and would be there for both my loved one and myself. They meet both our needs. Their attention to detail and the compassionate care giving was appreciated. Their sincerity could easily be seen, especially during the last days. Those times demanded critical and emotionally care. The owners and staff of Matalau Home Care bring a warmth to their professionalism that made me immediately comfortable with entrusting my mother's care to them while I was away. They asked good questions to get a sense of our needs and had helpful suggestions based on their experience. My mom was extremely pleased with the care she received. (She would write her own review if she had a google account.) She commented on the skill of the caregiver in knowing just how much to help--she was right there when needed, but not intrusive. Matalu Home Care stepped in quickly and seamlessly to help me provide excellent service and care for my older brother who had just recently moved to Sonoma County from the Midwest. His health was declining and his needs were changing rapidly. Matalau provided thoughtful and much needed care that was responsive and appropriate to his changing needs. Often these days as healthcare is becoming more impersonal, Matalau provides personal and professional support depending on the need.
