We have the pleasure of working with Home Instead for our Mother, and we couldn't be more satisfied with their services. The entire team is professional, compassionate, and attentive. They truly go above and beyond to ensure the comfort, safety and well-being for our Mother. From the initial consultation to the ongoing care, Home Instead demonstrated a genuine commitment to quality and personalized service. The caregivers are not only skilled and knowledgeable but also empathetic and kind. They are responsive to any questions or concerns we have. We are so grateful to Home Instead for the wonderful care they provided for our parents. When my dad came home from rehab, we had to scramble to find good help for him and our mom at home. Home Instead stepped in and sent them a caregiver who came to help them 3x a week. She helped prepare their meals, helped them bathe, did their laundry, cleaned, and helped them with other everyday household tasks that had become a struggle when they developed mobility issues. Their caregiver was wonderful. She listened to them and was so kind, patient, and caring. We also appreciated the communication between the agency and us; they were always checking in to see if we had any concerns or additional help they could provide. High praise for everyone in the State College office and especially the care givers. I signed a contract in February, anticipating my Dad’s discharge from rehab. He did return home but had to be hospitalized3 times in the following 4 months. Home Instead never missed a beat. We had care givers each time he returned home. I appreciate their flexibility, given the challenges that schedulers face. Our business contact, Denise, was kind, understanding and helpful. Denise even made an effort to visit dad during hospitalizations and stints in rehab. I highly recommend this service!

Our family has engaged Home Instead for the past few years in support of our father/father-in law and we could not be happier with the care he has been given. While all of the staff who have visited have been kind and great in their roles, Nixie has really made a difference in the quality of life our father has. Together, they make a great team as she helps him tackle his goals for the day. His implicit trust for her and the compassionate way she engages with him are unmatched in our experience. We are extremely grateful to Nixie and to Home Instead for such wonderful care.

I had four helpers over a five month time. They were all very nice and never complained about anything I asked then help for. My cat especially liked the ones with their own cats even though she's a little nasty sometimes.
