Everyone I've met from administrative to the helpers have been beyond wonderful. The accommodations they can provide and weekly coordination is a smooth running operation. My Dad and myself are extremely lucky to have this type of service in our lives. My dad has Parkinson's and had a stroke. He can get around but he needs help getting started in the morning. Anna, our Helper, is amazing. She dovetailed into our family perfect and she is a capable human being. We were a little hesitant at first for outside help coming in. Anna set us at ease and is a welcoming member to our household now. We appreciate all they've done.

My 98 Year old father passed away a few months ago and I feel the need to update my review of this agency. We used Senior Helpers for five years. I swear they are the reason my father lived as long as he did. He loved his caregivers! He looked forward to his aide arriving every day. They were more than just good at taking care of his physical needs. They cared deeply about my father and made each and every day enjoyable. I have used other agencies in town, but Senior Helpers is by far the best. Everything about the agency is excellent. I am grieving the death of my father but I am also sad that I will no longer see the caregivers who helped my father live life to the fullest up to the very end.

Don't let your loved one stay at this place. In-home, or not. I called at 1:00 am for a relative and the night lady was EXTREMELY rude, shouting into the phone, threatened me, told me "what they dont provide", and hung up. She also failed to give me the contact # or reason for my call. Yes. That's how we treat our elderly.

I wish I could give this agency 5 stars, but through a series of misunderstandings on BOTH our parts and a "not ready for work" employee, I cannot. Evidently, their weekend rates are $30 and their weekday rates are $28. Also, their MINIMUM day is 6 hours. SO, I received a larger than expected bill from them and, due to their lack of people to respond, I had to make numerous calls to work through this situation. At the end of the day, I had evidently ordered services that I did not remember ordering--I was in the hospital recovering from major surgery and had no idea what I might need--but if I did, I did. My largest issue with them, and where I believe I should NOT have been charged full rate, was that their first caregiver arrived at my home having ridden a bicycle over 10 miles on a very hot day. He was not in their usual uniform, was sweating profusely, and clearly not a good representative of their business. While he was a very nice person and this may not have been his fault, it did not present well for a first impression and, given his unprofessional appearance--he had his shirt off when I answered the door--I probably would have been hesitant to use his services had I needed them. I would have expected an accommodation of some sort as I only had both their people on site for a total of 2 hours, but I understand their rules. However, given the situation with the employee on the bicycle, as a business owner, I would have been inclined to offer a reduced rate to the customer since they also agree that this was not a professional appearance in any way and did not positively represent their company. In the end, I am relying on them to process a small overcharged credit to my account, and frankly, given the number of times I had to speak to them about this, am not optimistic that it will occur. They are very nice people and all our interactions were professional, but I am dismayed at the final results. Be sure you read and understand their terms and conditions when you contract for their services.

Senior Helpers are at my home to give me respite time, 18 hours a month. My husband has Alzheimer's and the young lady who takes care of him during that time is awesome and he loves her - sh engages him and I can take care of stuff while she is there. Senior Helpers Staff also listens when you tell them what you need.
