Since 1998, Comfort Keepers has provided compassionate care to countless seniors, people with disabilities, and other adults in need of short term or long-term help.  We work closely with clients, families, and loved ones to create customized care plans.  
Our caregivers are subject to a rigorous interview process, including national background, personal, and professional reference checks.  We screen for empathy, provide on-going training, and match caregivers for client compatibility.  Our caregivers are bonded, insured, and covered by workers' compensation.  They are employees, not independent contractors.  

We are here to assist you on aging in pace, establish a customized care plan tailored to your specific needs, provide support, and help connect you with resources throughout all of Ventura County, Southern Santa Barbara County, and Western Los Angeles County.

I can't say enough good things about these Comfort Keepers. From the management to the caregivers this is a class operation. They take the time to hire quality women and match the right caregivers to the client depending on one's particular needs. I could not have given Mom this quality of care and comfort in her final months without them. Thank you to all of the Comfort Keepers who provided such compassionate care and also support for me. You all will always be in my heart.

We can’t say enough how wonderful Comfort Keepers has been to our mom. They were very responsive and matched our mom with a caregiver based on personality, needs, and availability. Fast forward to three years later. Our mom’s caregiver is amazing, extremely reliable, trustworthy, and an advocate at her care facility. We seriously would not have be able to manage both mentally and physically had it not been for our caregiver and Comfort Keepers. The health and well-being of our mom is the priority and there is no doubt in our minds that we have chosen and allowed the best and greatest provider in elder care in our lives by having Comfort Keepers. Just a side note: Our caregiver noticed an issue with our mom that was not recognized by her facility caregivers and therefore summoned emergency services. Had she not done that and been aware of this serious issue, the ER doctor said our mom would have died within hours. This is why we highly recommend Comfort Keepers. The owners are reachable and personable, the office staff is professional and kind, and the caregiver(s) is beyond what we’ve ever had and truly love what they do. For this there is no greater blessing.

My 95 year old mother moved in with us in June of 2019.   At that time, I started using Comfort Keepers two days a week, for three hours, so that I could run errands and do the things I need to do.   A wonderful Comfort Keepers lady cares for my mom these days.   She cares for my mom, feeds her lunch, does her chair exercises with her, and assists her as needed.  In addition, the CK lady does light housekeeping chores (like laundry and dusting) also.  Other times, when my husband and I have social events to attend in the evenings, Comfort Keepers schedules other ladies to care for mom.  I have found all of the Comfort Keepers ladies to be kind,  professional and well-trained.  They arrive on time, and keep a log of the activities that took place while we were away.  I can plan ahead by using the Comfort Keepers website and calendar.  I would highly recommend this home care company.

My mother has had a caregiver from Comfort Keepers for the past 2+ years and it has been a great experience for  her and the entire family.  I find all of their staff to be helpful, organized, empathetic and highly knowledgeable about elder care.  We've had the same caregiver now for the majority of that time and she has been incredible.  She can walk the line between providing care and companionship, handles every situation with calm and good sense and has a become an invaluable part of my mother's continuing independence.  I highly recommend this organization.
