Colonial Hospice Care is a Medicare-certified hospice provider serving Burbank, California and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified hospice provides comfort care and support services to patients with terminal illnesses and their families. Hospice care focuses on quality of life rather than curative treatment.
Hospice care is available to patients whose physician certifies they have a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients may receive hospice care at home, in a hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital.
Medicare-certified hospices must provide all four levels of hospice care: routine home care, continuous home care for periods of crisis, general inpatient care for symptom management, and inpatient respite care to give caregivers a break. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers.

According to my experience regarding the care and quality of services that was provided to me by the " Colonial Hospice Care" , I can assure that is was effective and patient centered. They made me feel an important individual as days passed; whereas from week 1 a professional doctor and nurses came to get to know about my health case which was their priority. Accordingly, they made everything I need available with no delay which really amazed me how quick they reacted. As days passed, I felt that their approach was so friendly ,professional, and patient centered whether it was medical or emotional issues. Their communication and care is still ongoing keeping everything updated which eventually is making me feel more relaxed. God bless you.
At one of the hardest times in a persons life, having the right care is most important. Gary and his staff provided this care to me and my family. Gary was available 24 hours 7 days.
