"I simply cannot recommend Regional Hospice and Home care of Danbury to anyone seeking true Hospice or quality care. Our experience (both in-home and in-patient) was a nightmare that haunted us long after our loved one's death. The in-home nurses were unprofessional and did not seem to be aware of the fact that they were guests in the home of a grieving family. They were incredibly rude and as was the young social worker named Emily who has not had the proper training or years of experience to be talking with people who were taking care of a very ill family member. She and a nurse(who showed up without even calling) were so unprofessional it was like a circus act and it was truly disgusting when we were trying to get the help we needed. They just were incapable of providing it and did not at all understand the Hospice philosophy of care."
