Inspire Hospice provided compassionate, professional, and truly heartfelt care. Their team went above and beyond to support our entire family and friends during one of the most difficult times in our life. Inspire Hospice brought such peace and comfort, making the end of life feel like a natural and beautiful part of the journey.. We are forever grateful. Thank you to all the nurses, aides, office staff and Chaplain Dr. Wendel Daindridge. You all are truly a gift!

I was with Inspire for a while. I am a diabetic and I have cancer. Well I got Infection in my feet and they didn't want me to go to the hospital. They keep giving me antibiotics that was not doing no good for my infection. I chose to go to the hospital to get my feet feet worked on. Needless to say that as fire brought me on look kind of that and I've ended up losing one of my legs and most of my toes on my other foot. They had the nerve to tell me that they are in the dining business, not the living so they dropped me. The nurse's are great! I love the nurses the best but that is a bad way to treat a patient, especially someone that had infection like I had and I ended up losing one of my legs on the kind of them being incompetent so I would not recommend them for no patient. If you care about your loved ones, that's all I have to say about that

Extremely negative overall experience - we entered end of life care on Sunday afternoon/evening. Dad passed on Thursday. While there were some fabulous employees; the management, communication and resources in our most stressful time of need were unbelievable. We fired Inspire Hospice on Tuesday.
We were provided with ONE brief for a 48 hour period. No employee had any with them, and no one brought any, despite everyone requesting and ordering and promising the next person would bring them.
It took a MINIMUM of 1.5 hours - 3.5 hours for a nurse to get to us when we called and asked for one. 3.5 hours. During the most stressful moments of life.
We had to ask for every single medication refill. We realized at one point that we did not have enough medications to get through the night while dealing with an EXTREME case of terminal agitation (9 hours of continuous care to get it under control). When we called, we were told that there was nothing they could do, and we were instructed to reduce the dosage by 1/2 to stretch the meds out until more could be obtained. When I told the nurse (all of this is over the phone) that this was not acceptable and that I needed help, her reply? “There’s nothing I can do - what do you expect me to do?” - to which I told her at a minimum she could be here if I called her and needed her for support in the event that he became agitated or uncomfortable again. After 1.5 hours, his agitation began to return.
He was receiving three medications every thirty minutes to control his agitation and discomfort - I spent 50 hours counting every pill, measuring every mL of medication, advocating for him on the phone and stressing - worried that we would run out and he would be in discomfort instead of spending time comforting my mother, loving on him and preparing myself.
Nearly running out of meds was the final straw. We fired Inspire Hospice on Tuesday and changed to Longleaf Hospice, who miraculously managed to have us an ENTIRE PACKAGE of adult briefs, gloves, pads, and other supplies within 2 hours of the phone call. Once he came under their care, we lacked nothing, had to think of nothing and had plenty of medication to keep him comfortable in his last two days of life. The transition was seamless, and Longleaf provided an excellent hospice experience and exceptional end of life care for my dad.

Our family has been incredibly grateful for the exceptional care provided by Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care, whose entire team has consistently demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and dedication. Each staff member we've encountered has been attentive, caring, and genuinely committed to ensuring my mother's comfort and well-being.
Our 87-year-old mother, who lives in an assisted living facility, has an ostomy. Over the last year we've struggled with getting support for her ostomy care. Since Inspire Hospice stepped in about 2 months ago, the quality of her care has improved significantly and this is largely thanks to RN Lori Sherman. Lori has gone above and beyond in supporting our family and has brought us a sense of peace that is truly priceless.
Lori's thorough communication, thoughtful ideas and proactive approach have been invaluable. She has been a tireless advocate for my mother, introducing practical improvements to her care and taking the time to train the facility staff to meet her needs. Lori listens deeply to our concerns and is continually implementing creative solutions that enhance my mother's quality of life. Her dedication, expertise and kindness have brought us comfort and relief, knowing that my mother is in such caring and capable hands.
We cannot thank the entire Inspire Hospice team enough for their remarkable support. All of them have provided not only excellent care, but a compassionate presence during this challenging time. Our gratitude for Lori and the entire Inspire Hospice team is immense and we will wholeheartedly recommend their services to any family in need of attentive, professional and compassionate care.
