We have been working with the hospice staff from the Greenfield office for several months. They have all been so wonderful to my dad and to me. What supportive and caring people they all are. I always get a call with each visit to talk about his health and how to make him comfortable. The hospice team arranged transport to drive dad to his childhood farm. Driving in the county to his "homeplace" brings him so much joy and peace. It meant so very much to him to see it again and for me to hear him talk about his memories of his younger years. His nurces Susan and Staci (they are wonderful) accompanied us on the trip. It was comforting having them there in case a health situation came up It was a beautiful gift. I can not express my gratitude enough to them and the other staff at Care Initiatives for how wonderful they treat us.

When looking for a hospice for my mom it was evident that Care Initiative was the right fit for our family. We were not clear as to what hospice services were and they helped put our minds at ease with the care she was going to get. They made the admission process smooth and were with our family every step of the way. We appreciate the care that mom received and would recommend their services to others.

I was not pleased. The lack of immediacy in the needed care with my Mother was shocking. The nursing staff did not respond quick enough to prevent my Mother from enduring tremendous pain. She deserved to have the best quality care and it was not available when she died. The nurse was not called in until ten hours before my Mother died. It took a week from when I called hospice for that to happen. But my Mom met the director, spiritual counselor and social worker beforehand. But why wasn’t the nurse on site sooner? Shouldn’t that be the first person to come in when you have a chronically ill person?

Worst experience for my poor father. Had to call multiple times for medications to make my father comfortable. The nurse's were unengaged. The bath-aid came with no supplies. Once my father passed not one staff member offered their condolences. Had to call multiple times for 2 days to get equipment picked up. Overall, horrible experience for my family. I could go on.

I wasn't pleased with your hospice at all. Every hospice I've ever known makes sure the patient has what they need before they even leave. It also happens on the same day or at latest, the following day. And when I called for help on the weekend the nurse took 2 hours to get there and couldn't do anything because there were no pain meds ordered. Then when mom passed the nurse said she couldn't get there for several hours. I would be ashamed if I were all of you. Calling yourself a hospice company is shameful
