HEARTLAND HOSPICE SERVICES

I am under Hospice care. Overall, been real pleased with the care and support I am being given. La Tonya, Carrie, Carlos are just plain outstanding in their job. I have tried two other Hospice groups here in Newport News and Hampton. Didn't stay with them long because of the quality of Heartland. I failed to mention that there are other employees who visit me and they each are wonderful folks. My wife also is very pleased with Heartland because they always check with and talk with her. If faced with a situation where you or a loved one needs Hospice, you will not go wrong picking Heartland.

Hospice has been wonderful, everyone is so helpful, able and kind. Donya Green has been a gift from God - a true game changer for me. At my lowest, not even knowing how i could help myself even bathe - Donya entered the picture…she’s got the ‘angel’ attitude and touch. She joyfully takes care of people. She uplifts people and cares for their needs with a feather touch.She is very needed by folks who are impaired- very needed in this world. God bless this woman! Thank you hospice! Amanda Holland is the best , she work good with my mother (Shirley Richardson). Amanda has the best personality , spirit, she ask and answer questions and also my mother and the family loves her and the work that she does for our mother. What a wonderful company, they have helped me in ways I had no idea that I needed. Donya, our CNA goes above and beyond to care for my mom. Tiffany, the RN, is such a great nurse, I don’t know what I would do without them! Thank You for all the help in this time.

Heartland Hospice is a godsend. As my mom's health deteriorated, she was placed in a memory unit and I was advised by a friend to engage hospice to assist in her care. What a gamechanger! These folks have been such a blessing for our family and, more importantly, for our mom. From the nurses to the CNA's to the chaplain to the social worker, we had the absolute best experience. In addition to providing all of the supplies and equipment mom needed, they provided a level of care and support that made a truly heartbreaking situation much more bearable. I'm going to miss some names but I must acknowledge Missy, Shelly, Dorene, Nanette, Whitney, Lisa, Cheryl and Donya for the amazing support they gave my mom. But, most of all, I must thank Tiffany. I sat by mom's bedside for eight days as she was transitioning and Tiffany was there with me every step of the way. She ensured that mom was comfortable and not suffering. She kept me informed about the process and what to expect as the days passed. I don't think I could've gotten through it without her and I will be forever grateful for her kindness and understanding as I experienced the grief associated with losing a beloved parent. Thank you, Heartland, from the bottom of my heart. You guys are a very real blessing for families going through this difficult journey.
