We started with Autumnview hospice service about a month ago, and I can’t say enough about the incredible team — Martha (nurse), Angie (CNA), and Lavelle (director). The support they provide during this part of my father’s cancer journey is beyond what I could have imagined. They lead with kindness, listen first, and thoughtfully share opportunities and options. It’s clear they are truly invested in supporting not only my father but also me as his caregiver, helping us navigate this difficult time with grace, dignity, and deep understanding. Their care has also made a real difference in my father’s willingness to accept help — something that means so much — and that shift is in large part due to the respect and compassion they consistently show him. I truly can’t recommend this team enough. They have made a hard chapter feel a little more bearable, and I’m grateful for their presence and care.

This is a great hospice provider. Autumn View Hospice is the preferred provider at our Personal Care Home. They work alongside our staff for the best outcomes for the residents. The hospice CNA at our home, Tamara serves as a smooth transition with our staff. It’s hard to see where our staff ends and theirs begin. Their doctor comes to the home to visit the resident to see first hand how the resident is doing. Sherry, Lavell, and Dr. Hamilton are always very helpful with any challenges or situations that may arise. I highly recommend this hospice company for your loved one who may need a hospice provider.

Edit: After posting my initial review, I received a call from the owner. I am very appreciative of the follow-up communication and the genuine interest from the owner in hearing more about my experience in an attempt to make improvements. I've adjusted my review accordingly. Originally gave 3 stars. Am modifying now to four. My original review: The people who worked directly with my family were wonderful, especially Dominique, Mohamed and Suzan. In general, however, I found it very difficult to get anyone to answer the main phone number during standard office hours. Thank goodness I had Dominique's number; she was very responsive and helpful, even when she wasn't technically scheduled to be working. I am leaving only a moderate overall review because the main phone line was not adequately staffed. For the three specific people named above, I would give them each a 5-star rating for their professionalism, responsiveness and care.

The staff is always professional. They are team players with the clients to ensure that the patient's needs are met. They include the family in the care plan, which includes patient travel.

My mother has been on the services for a little over a month now. As one that works in the Home Care field, we are not happy. I should have spent more time doing my research on other Hospice companies at the time my mother was inpatient and needed to come home on Hospice and I used the first hospital referral that called me for services. I was reassured my mother would receive this and that and the pros of utilizing the services. However, Unfortunately, here we are, and Her care plan has not been successful and adhered to. She is to be getting a caregiver 3 times a week and a Nurse two times a week. SHE HAS BEEN without a caregiver 1 week someone would show, 3 weeks later a caregiver would come only one time. Then one time one came then she left telling my mother she would be back and never came back to bathe her. Communication between staff is ridiculous nobody knows what is going on, even after communication it with the nurse and her telling me that she has been relaying all of my concerns to Sherry. Nobody hardly ever shows up and it's been 3 weeks in total a caregiver has even been here, Insurance is yet billing for services not rendered. Then the nurse Martha tried to be rude with me in text after I asked why she didn't send my mother's prescriptions to the Pharmacy for a refill that she used for over 3 years. They tried to transfer all of my mother's medications to who they use without consent. Then my mother NEVER received her insulin even though her own insurance would've covered it! So, she was 2 days without! Literally she almost gone into a sugar coma prior, so her medication is essential even after expressing this to the nurse!!! I texted the aide to ask what time she was coming, and I was told that the office told her that my mom was off services! My mother has NOT been admitted to the ER nor have I received a notification o0r signed for discharge from Autumn View Hospice yet and legally she is supposed to still be receiving services until TRANSFER to another is COMPLETE! Then my mom has bed sores first time in the 4 years I've been caring for her, although she's rotated the nurse Martha tells me to just put butt paste on it , it's gotten worse and she has more and I can't get help for her. I decided to start looking for other Hospice services for her and they illegally just kicked her off of their services, which they are NOT supposed to do by law. It's just really unprofessional on the caring end of patients because my mother besides my children and husband is my priority and she is not receiving what she is supposed to. I would NOT recommend.
