Accentcare
Accentcare is a Medicare-certified hospice provider serving Westwood, Massachusetts and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified hospice provides comfort care and support services to patients with terminal illnesses and their families. Hospice care focuses on quality of life rather than curative treatment.
Hospice care is available to patients whose physician certifies they have a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients may receive hospice care at home, in a hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital.
Medicare-certified hospices must provide all four levels of hospice care: routine home care, continuous home care for periods of crisis, general inpatient care for symptom management, and inpatient respite care to give caregivers a break. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers.
Medicare covers hospice services with no cost to patients for most services, including medications for symptom control, medical equipment, and 24-hour access to care. For more information about hospice benefits, visit Medicare.gov. Compare hospice providers at Medicare Care Compare.
Quality data and provider information are updated periodically by CMS. We recommend verifying current information at Medicare Care Compare.

I had to cancel this service due to lack of showing up as they ghosted the appointments multiple times. Then they just called 3 weeks later to tell me I canceled due to being "overwhelmed". The unprofessionalism is insane. I've had many many many services over the years with both parents having serious health issues---dealt with all kinds and never gone public (and wouldn't have until this phone call today) but they were the worst--be ware if using this company.
Laurie my husbands physical therapist was amazing. She was on time, great with communication and follow up. She was a pleasure to work with and probably one of these best physical therapists we have worked with over the years. She is a great asset to your company.
Love the nurse and the girls on the phone are great but hate the fact that I feel like I have to call to get everything and anything done. I'm dealing with being constantly ill or in pain and I have to call constantly to get things done. It's very frustrating. edited for update!!!! You guys don't care I have been calling for my urostomy supplies for 2 weeks. My Dr changed my urostomy bag type because my skin is tearing when changing and breaking down from the adhesive. I have sent many messages with Tobey. She let the person handling orders know. Well I was never taken care of. I finally called this Thursday angry and now I am being helped by Kristen the right way. Despite this I want answers the person taking the message from Tobey owes me a reason why she or he didn't do what was supposed to be done. Why did I have to call hollister to find out info that accent should have known. I am unbelievably stressed and upset and feel like I have been treated wrong and would like to know when i can just be a patient and not an employee of accent doing someone's job. I deserve an apology for this whole situation. God forbid this happens to an elderly person who can,t advocate for themselves.
After open heart surgery at St. Elizabeth hospital ordered Nursing and PT services from Accent Home Care. Twice a week Nurse and twice a week PT. Two and a half weeks after the surgery they visited me only once instead of eight times as they should. Nurse could hardly speak any English. After talking to their Director Tendei, he told me that they never received order for PT. It seems that they are milking the system and not providing any services and not making any home visits.
It seems like accent home health care really cares about what they are doing and how they treat their clients and that's a good thing and until I have a full experience I will be giving a two Star rating
