"My father was in this hell hole. He walked in from another hospital needing IV antibiotic treatment. They did the bare minimum of care. His CO2 levels shot through the roof and he couldn’t really use his hands to feed himself and they didn’t even help him eat until I flipped out because he was so hungry. His lungs filled up with fluid, nothing done. When I threatened to call joint commission and wanted my dad removed the Dr got an attitude. Every time I called it was a new person and they knew nothing about my dad. And said I think he’s doing okay.??? I watch person after person on that floor die. I watched helpless as my dad got sicker and they wouldn’t even help him get up into a chair they complained of being short of staff and of chairs. After the 14 days of antibiotics was up( the stretch of time needed for Medicare to pay) anytime less they don’t get full payment, and after I along with the New Dr looked at my dad’s CT scan which revealed layers of fluid and infection on his sternum he was then transferred to a hospital siting his acuteness was more than they could care for, where he died of sepsis and organ failure 3 days later. From what I have read this 14 day thing is the MO of Select Specialty regardless of how acutely I’ll the patient, because they want to get full payment. They will risk your loved ones health to get paid. Google it!!! When we looked into suing there wasn’t an attorney that would go up against the good ole boy medical system in TN. This hospital was absolutely 💯 the reason my father died. The best gift you can give your loved one is to advocate."

"Absolutely horrible. They kept my friend handcuffed to the bed for about 6 weeks until he developed pneumonia. Over almost 6 months, never once met a doctor. Apparently they are like finding a unicorn around there and the nurse practitioners are about as hard to find as well. One of the two I actually met was in a rush and the rudest medical professional I have ever encountered in my life. Anna if anyone in charge actually sees this. They over sedate patients with seroquel without even having a psychiatrist on the team, which also doesn't have a neurologist. They told us imaging isn't useful but apparently that is because they have no access to the machines. After raising concerns and asking for a second opinion nurse Jeanie R had me taken off the visitation list by flat out lying to family. This place cares about money and will go to any lengths to protect their shotty care. STAY AWAY!!!!! Bad enough that I am reporting to any state agency I can find and apparently this place is already being investigated by the attorney general in some states. HORRIBLE!!!!!"
