Home Care Assistance is looking for professional caregivers to add to our team! We have opportunities for both hourly and live-in shifts. Our clients are located in Lehigh and Northampton Counties. Accepting walk-ins Wednesdays 9 am -1 pm, and Thursday 10 am - 1 pm. We provide non-medical care with the mission to change the way the world ages. As a live-in caregiver, you can earn a full week of pay in just a few short days. Live-in positions offer consistent wages as you spend 3-5 days and nights per week (your choice) in a clients home; the client provides private sleeping quarters. The family and our Care Team will work with you directly on supporting your clients specific, around-the-clock needs. When you need time off, simply let our Care Team know and we will find another caregiver to fill your shift. Responsibilities can include helping clients with: •Personal hygiene such as bathing, dressing and grooming •Cooking and nutritional guidance •Transportation services •Light housekeeping services and laundry •Medication reminders •Exercise and physical assistance •Conversation. companionship and mental stimulation WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BEST! Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Companionship Experience in personal care, or other related field Professional, compassionate and caring demeanor 2+ years care giving experience Prefer caregiver has car, access to reliable transportation and valid insurance Excellent written and verbal communication skills A passion for the job and helping others •No history of criminal background •Passionate about providing care for elders •Must feel confident in your ability to engage the Client in activities and conversation What’s in it for you?
