Caregiver

Responsibilities and Duties Assist Elderly residents with their Activities of Daily Life Dressing, ready for bed, toileting, etc. Treat residents with dignity and respect. Engage Residents in Activities/Conversation/Companionship. Document resident's condition, food intake and well being - every shift in writing Take accurate messages, check appointment/activity calendars. Detailed written communications. Medication reminders. Meal preparation/Serve meals -- follow recipes, and have basic cooking skills. Housekeeping duties. Wash dishes, clean bedrooms, laundry, etc. Qualifications and Skills High School Graduate Good communication skills in English Previous caregiving experience preferred Drivers License and Reliable transportation North Orange County Residents preferred. Physically able to preform single person minimal to medium assistance transfers. Current CPR, First-Aid, Live Scan preferred Payroll, overtime paid according to labor laws. 24 hours sick time per year, time and 1/2 on five holidays.
