Caregivers needed

We aspire to lead with empathy, innovation, and integrity, creating a brighter future for those we care for. Responsibilities Understand and aid client’s needs according to plan of care. Perform periodic safety checks on the client. Give bathing assistance. Give dressing assistance. Give feeding assistance. Assist in client's hygiene management. Escort clients to/from meals, activities, etc. Assist in client emergencies, including calling 911 when necessary. Perform light housekeeping duties within the client's place of care. Complete client's laundry as requested/needed. Chart and document appropriate information. Assist with client's dietary needs, including preparing meals if necessary. Participate in training. Always ensure safety and health of the client. Complete internal reports (i.e. incident reports, daily care log, etc.) as necessary. Report all health, safety, and sanitation concerns to the Senior Manager. Report any deviation from plan of care. Report known or suspected elder abuse as required and described in SOC341A. Initiate client's physical activity/social recreational plan. Communicate with the client. Other duties as directed by the Senior Manager. Requirements: At least 18 years of age Authorized to legally work in the United States Criminal record clearance or an exemption from the FBI and DOJ Health screening and TB test no older than 90 days Able to lift 20 pounds unassisted and push 40 pounds unassisted Able to meet all the requirements and responsibilities as outlined in the job description License/certifications: Valid first aid card CA Home Care Aid Registration Negative TB test or clear chest X-ray (if TB test positive) Valid California Driver’s License Join us as we continue our mission of spreading comfort and compassion to every doorstep we reach, igniting hope with each step, and building a brighter tomorrow Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
