In-home Caregiver

Hiring for Part time and Live-in Caregivers Only accepting candidates who are currently living in Alaska, our local area at this time. All out of state candidates will not be considered. We are looking to hire dedicated and compassionate caregivers in the Fairbanks/North Pole area for at Home Care and Live-in shifts. We need someone who is a fast learner, adaptable to clients' change in care needs, compassionate, empathetic, patient, pays attention to detail, and is an effective communicator. Duties will be, but not limited to, the following: Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care Medication reminders Assistance with mobility Personal hygiene and care Meal preparation Transportation Housekeeping/Home maintenance Doctor’s appointments Companionship There is a performance evaluation done at the end of the first 90 days of employment. If by the end of that period work performance and work ethic are outstanding you will receive your first raise. There will be more training available at the end of those 90 days as well which gives room for further advancement.
