JOB DESCRIPTION Home Care Help is a non-medical home care company specializing in helping individuals and autistic young people in their homes. We are located in Los Angeles. We provide service in Glendale, Burbank, Hollywood, North Hollywood, Northridge, Pasadena, Covina, Monrovia, Gardena, Los Angeles and Altadena. We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Caregivers to provide excellent care and support for individuals struggling with activities of daily living due to developmental disabilities. Home Care Help provides a diversity of non-medical services to support seniors in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion. Job Types: Part-time & Full Time Benefits: Flexible scheduling – various shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours per day 24 hours a day, OFFER: $500 Full Time & $250 Part Time Hiring Bonus Paid online training 5 paid sick days (after 90 days probation) 3 paid holidays in a year Referral program Employee Appreciation – performance bonus, gift card Weekly Paycheck Free Pension Plan (details provided upon interview) Responsibilities: Assist Clients with daily living activities Provide care and supervision to clients. Report to supervisor for updates Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, and other personal hygiene activities daily Light housekeeping tasks, laundry, and meal preparation Medication Reminders Respite Care Qualifications: Previous experience in personal care or other related fields preferred Compassionate and caring demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients First Aid/CPR training (Preferable) For working with autistic behavioral young clients CPI/DSP 1,2 - Required Be in good physical condition Valid Driver's License and Reliable transportation Requirements: Must have HCA registration with the State of California (we can help you obtain) Must have legal authorization to work in the US and be at least 18 years of age Complete a Criminal Background Check (clearance from FBI and DOJ) TB clearance and Health Screening Must be able to work some weekends Must have personal vehicle, driver's license, and car insurance Home Care Help is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is proud of its culture of diversity and inclusion.
