Key Aspects of the Role: • Person-Centered Approach: Must focus on the individual's needs, desires, and preferences, tailoring support to promote independence and personal growth. • Building Independence: Encourage individuals to do as much as they can for themselves, rather than doing things for them. • Respect and Dignity: Must treat individuals with respect, and value their choices and contributions.
