Caregiver Job Description
California Assisted Development Adult Day Program, also known as C.A.D. Day Program is a facility that assists participants with dual diagnosis and multiple different mental disorders. We assist the participants by helping them better integrate into society, their communities, and help them to create more balance in their day-to-day lives and the lives of those who care for them. We do that by performing interventions when necessary and redirecting the participants from a distressed behavior to calm and positive one. We also include holistic methods like, sound healing, breathe work, yoga, even Reiki Healing and much more. We also have our own transportation company to pick up our participants from their homes and transport them to our C.A.D Day Program. They all have a schedule of what to do and the staff supports it and prompt them to do their task which is activities, computers, cooking class, janitorial, Creative Arts, and/or going out in the communities. Some of our participants may need assistance with helping them to the restroom due to limitations which would require you to assist them. With the best interest of the participants in mind, we're looking for people who truly care about helping and adding to the life's of others. It really makes a difference to both the participants and the families or group homes they come from. Does this sound like something you want to be involved in, we would love to have you!
