Companion for Seniors

Do you have a heart for serving others with joy? We are seeking caregivers to provide companionship and care for seniors. Joyful Companions Home Care provides non-medical home care services to seniors and older adults with disabilities. We strive to help our clients live independently for as long as possible, while also bringing peace of mind to their families. Joyful Companions provides non-medical companion care through a variety of tasks including light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, laundry, transportation, companionship and memory care. Shifts range from hourly shifts of 2 - 8 hours during the day, with other shifts available for evenings, overnights, and 24-hour care. We are looking for reliable, compassionate caregivers. You must have a dependable, insured vehicle with a current driver's license and auto insurance. We have high standard of excellence, and conduct a full, independent background check and contact all work and personal references. Our Caregivers Provide: Companionship Grocery Shopping Meal planning and preparation Light housekeeping Laundry Transportation to appointments, errands and outings Memory Care Requirements: Reliable vehicle Current Minnesota driver's license Proof of current automobile insurance 21 years of age or older Good communication skills Ability to document service provided All caregiver positions are considered part time, and we cannot guarantee consistent hours due to the unpredictable nature of the changing needs with the seniors we serve.
